Feature Friday: Palm Beach Hampton's Style

Hello! If you’re new to my Feature Friday posts this is where I love to show you inside real homes. Today's home tour, is a home in my local neighbourhood. If you are a Gold Coast local, you might know it too?

There was a block of land that was nestled alongside the waterfront homes of Queensland's Palm Beach. Right on the stunning Tallebudgera creek, its a beautiful waterfront location. It was recently bought and this stunning Hampton's home was built. It has recently been listed for sale and was turned in at Auction, now for sale for $1,490,000.

Let's step inside this slice of Hampton's on the waterfront...

The kitchen is oversized and quite a modern feel, with 2-pac cabinets, Caesar stone bench tops, a breakfast bar, butler's pantry and plenty of bench and storage space. I think the home was built with selling it not long after in mind.
To me, the kitchen is a 'safe' option, with no risky tile choices, benchtops or questionable features. It is a home that is a 'blank canvas', that as a buyer, you can imagine putting your own style and decor into. What do you think?

The grey wash timber floors are a popular choice at the moment, they do look fabulous they don't they?

I m a fan of dark painted doors too. I love the contrast against what would otherwise be an all white interior.

The beauty of a two storey home is that the upstairs is always so light and airy. How lovely and sunny is this home office?

In the master bedroom below, once again, the furnishings are 'safe' in this room and very dull. But the soft carpet colour and plantation shutters are great bones in this master bedroom suite, you could create such a beautiful sanctuary in this sunny space.

In my opinion, styling is so important when selling a home. Its a fine line between having it stark and understyled, hoping the new buyer sees it as a blank canvas. Versus a home oozing with warmth, character and homeliness. If the owners of this home were serious to sell, I think Anne-Marie at Cape Cod Residential would turn this home into a quick sale. I would love to see A-M's furniture, gorgeous cushion range and her lusted after drinks cart that is always so impeccably styled! I know you would agree.

With a private courtyard and waterfront pool house, there are some great outdoor entertaining options in this home.

There is also a guest wing with its own entrance. This could also double as an art studio and is on the entry level, as well as the separate office plus generous laundry with huge walk-in storage room. You will see this on the floor plan of the home below.

Such a unique block isn't it, with just a snippet of waterfront frontage, they truly have tried to maximise it - building a waterfront pool house. I do like the exposed brick they have used in it too, something completely unexpected and different!

TELL ME, WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS HAMPTON'S HOME?
Is the Hampton's look your style?
What do you love or loathe about this home?

Thanks so much for stopping by today, hope you have loved this home tour!

You can see the real estate listing here, all photos and information was sourced from there. It's currently listed for $1,490,000.
